The Directorate of Education, District West-B, organised an Awareness Programme for Heads of Schools on 20 July 2026 at Kerala Senior Secondary School, Vikaspuri. The programme focused on key legal, safety and administrative measures for ensuring student welfare, including the POCSO Act, Juvenile Justice Act, NCORD initiative and Cyber Safety.
The technical session was conducted by representatives of the Manobal Foundation, who sensitised school heads on legal provisions, mandatory reporting responsibilities and institutional mechanisms for child protection.
The programme was graced by Sh. Hari Kallikkat, IAS, District Magistrate (West), Sh. Sachin Singhal, IPS, Addl. DCP (West), and Dr. Harsh Arya, Additional Director of Education.
