The Mathematics Lab was set up in the academic year 2005-06 as per the instruction of CBSE to introduce practical’s in the subject. This lab has a sitting capacity of 40 students.
Mathematics lab provides an opportunity for students to discover Maths through doing. These activities help the students to visualize and logically reason out the concepts. It allows them to engage themselves in doing rather than being a passive observer or recipient of knowledge in the learning process.
The entire faculty of Maths always strive hard to prepare the students for a world where the subject is growing rapidly and is extensively applied to a diverse number of fields.
We conduct Mathematics Exhibitions, celebrate National Mathematics Day ( the birth anniversary of great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan) with various competitions and conduct seminars by eminent personalities like Sri. S N Chhibber to motivate the students of classes X & XII.
